Killeen Castle is proud to announce that we have officially been certified as a Great Place to Work for 2024 after a thorough and independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work® Institute Ireland. The accreditation process is based on direct feedback from employees, provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about the workplace experience.
General Manager Philip Rock said, “Throughout the past year, the team at Killeen Castle have worked alongside external consultants to evaluate and improve the internal working culture at Killeen Castle. The journey of improving the work culture not only improves the wellbeing of our staff but also creates an environment where staff can flourish as team members and grow with us as we develop our business offering at Killeen Castle.”
Further to gaining this accreditation, Killeen Castle has set about developing and implementing a change strategy. Director of Golf & Hospitality Cormac Ryan said, “If we can maintain high standards of Internal Customer Service - between our employees, then our External Customer Service - our employees to guests, can only excel us to exceed our guest's expectations”
Cormac Ryan added, “Killeen Castle is growing at a fast pace, and we plan to expand on all our offerings, including the regeneration of the castle. To ensure our future success, we need to establish the foundations of service excellence in all that we do. We have found The Great Places to Work program fundamental in the development of our employee training and recognition”
