The Jameson Golf Links is an 18-hole course that spans 203 acres and is situated on the grounds of the former Jameson Estate of St. Marnocks. This course has hosted professional and amateur events, including the 2008 and 2009 Ladies Irish Open and the 2021 Irish Challenge.
Utilising the dunes and natural terrain, Jameson Golf Links offers a layout that will appeal to avid links enthusiasts. Elevated tees and greens, blind approaches and doglegs, and the characteristic links sea breeze make for an engaging round of golf.
Seapoint Golf Links
Seapoint is a relatively young links course, but the golfer experience attests to the challenge presented by its designers. Since its opening in 1995, the course has hosted a European Tour matchplay event, two Irish PGAs, and the Irish Amateur Close Championship.
Measuring 7,150 yards from its championship tees, Seapoint provides a challenging test for even the best golfers. However, with three to five tee boxes on every hole (including a set dedicated to winter golf only), the course is a fair test for golfers of all standards.
The golfing experience at Seapoint varies due to the conditions, with wind often being a factor. The course layout, with two loops of nine and multiple changes in hole direction, offers a mix of playing downwind, hitting into the wind, and navigating crosswinds during the 18-hole round. It embodies the essence of enjoyable links golf, with the additional challenge of avoiding revetted bunkers and dealing with unpredictable bounces. Headfort Golf Club
The Championship Course, designed by Christy O’Connor is consistently ranked amongst Ireland’s best parkland courses and has played host to the European Challenge Tour and Irish Championships since it opened at the start of the millennium.
Making the best use of the natural features of the old Headfort estate, O’Connor created a layout that is simply breathtaking. The Championship Course at Headfort is visually stunning and a true test for golfers of all abilities.
In 1930, the Headfort Old Course began on lands leased from the Headfort estate. Throughout the mid-point of the last century, the Old Course was developed into the 18-hole layout we know today.
